Last Week's Devlog


Last Week I needed sleep so badly, I opted out of writing my Devlog.  I stayed up until  5 am and then woke up for work at 7 am. 

Last week I fixed the flip functionality in the characters by deleting the left animations for all characters. Based on game testing of my students, the box colliders were extended as the place holder character was much smaller than my character and thus had smaller colliders than were needed. 

I added new art, a kitchen and school to support the story/ choose your own adventure options discussed with my tutors.

I used the key pick up code to add a breakfast bowl collection function.

I really struggled to add the levels due to how I had coded the Hub and I required more thought and sleep to realise how to add hell and school and kitchen levels to the game. 

Sunday nights are always hard, although I spend a few hrs on uni daily,  weekends are were I do the bulk of my work as I work full time.
